As an avid player, I have been taught a number of valuable lessons while playing over the years. Regardless if you prefer to wagering at the ‘bricks and mortar’ type or the numerous net casinos. Below are my golden rules of gaming, most of which can be thought of as clear thinking, but if followed they will assist you in going a long distance to leaving with a sense of enjoyment.
Rule 1: Go into a casino with a determined number that you are ready and can afford to use – How much would you pay for a night out on diner, alcoholic beverages, cover charges and tips? This is a great number to use.
Rule 2: Do not take your debit card with you – or any means of getting cash out. Do not be concerned about money for the taxi if you throw away all of it; most cab drivers, specifically the cabs hailed at casinos, will drive you to your apartment and will be more than happy to wait for the moola when you get back.
Rule three: Stay to your set cap. I constantly imagine what I’d want to buy if I profit. The last time I was able to go, I determined I would would like to purchase a new digital SLR camera which cost about $400, so that was my upper threshold. As soon as I reached that number, I quit. Just walk away. Even if Mystic Megan herself gives you the next number for the roulette wheel, pay no attention to her and say goodbye. Head out Secure in the knowledge that you will be going into the mall and acquiring a great new toy!
Rule four: Have a good time. When you are "buzzing" you will profit. It’s a fact. I don’t understand the reason why, but it simply is. Once it becomes a commitment, or you are only wagering to gain a profit you have lost, you usually will fritter away even more. When you are winning, having an excellent time with your friends, or your significant other, you usually will profit even more.
